Christmas Market Photography in Beijing - My 3rd Year as the Official Photographer
THE MOST AWAITED CHRISTMAS BAZAAR IN BEIJING
At the end of every year the German Embassy Christmas Market in Beijing opens its gates — and for the third year in a row, I had the honour of photographing this beautiful and heartwarming event.
This year was especially meaningful: for the first time, I was fully responsible for the entire photography project, from planning and visual design to execution and guest experience.
The market has become one of Beijing’s most beloved holiday traditions for the international and expat community, and capturing these moments feels like photographing a little “home away from home.”
MY CREATIVE JOURNEY FROM HUNGARY TO BEIJING
As a photographer originally from Hungary, I now divide my life between Budapest and Beijing, working across two cultures and two creative worlds.
Over the past seven years, I’ve specialized in:
Brand & business photography
Maternity & newborn sessions
Portrait and event photography
My style is warm, emotional, and elegant — always focused on capturing real emotions and genuine moments.
GIVING BACK THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY
What makes this project truly special is its purpose. 100% of the photography proceeds were donated to charitythrough the German Embassy, allowing me to use my work to give back to the city that has become my second home. Beijing has shaped me both personally and professionally, and capturing these warm, emotional, authentic moments is my way of contributing to the international community I deeply care about.
With my signature mspixart style — warm tones, genuine emotions, elegant simplicity — I photographed expat families, couples, and embassy teams, creating holiday memories they can take with them wherever life leads next.
